Named after the 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur — an impossible black silhouette on a cliff of rock, built to outlast every empire that came for it. Our Black Fort Duffle is cut from the same idea: a bag built to outlast the trip, the trip after that, and the decade that follows.

What it is

• Full-grain buffalo leather — vegetable-tanned, ages darker and softer with use
• Hand-stitched in our Jodhpur workshop by artisans who've worked leather for 20+ years
• Solid brass hardware — buckles, D-rings, and zipper pulls that don't corrode
• Sturdy canvas lining with an internal zip pocket for essentials
• Adjustable, detachable shoulder strap plus double top handles

• 24" — carry-on weekend, 2–3 nights of clothes
• 28" — the classic. Week-long trip, gym plus office
• 30" — extended travel, full kit

How it ages

Full-grain leather doesn't peel or crack — it patinas. The corners will soften, the surface will darken where you touch it most, and after a year of hard use it will look nothing like the day it arrived. That's the point.
