The Craft

A well-chosen leather piece balances its materials, construction and everyday purpose. Here is what to look for in the Asgard collection of handcrafted bags and accessories.

Start with the material

Leather type and finish affect the feel, appearance and care of a piece. Our product listings describe the materials for each design. Where a product is identified as full-grain leather, its natural grain surface is retained. Do not assume every item uses the same leather, lining or finish.

Look at the construction

Panel shapes, seams and edge finishing contribute to how a bag sits and carries. Use the close-up photographs to inspect the details, and compare interior and exterior views before choosing a piece.

Check the useful details

  • Compartments: consider where your laptop, notebooks, camera or smaller essentials will go.
  • Closures: look at the zippers, buckles or fastenings shown for that design.
  • Carry options: check the handles, shoulder straps and any stated adjustment or conversion features.
  • Fit: compare the listed width, height and depth with what you plan to carry. A device’s screen size alone does not confirm fit.

Natural variation

Grain, markings and colour can vary between leather pieces. Lighting and screens can also affect the colour you see online. If a particular tone or detail matters to you, contact us before placing your order.

Made to be used and cared for
