The Conversion
The backpack straps are stored flat against the rear panel under a magnetic closure flap. To switch: unclip the shoulder strap, open the rear panel, pull out the straps. The entire mechanism is leather and brass — no plastic clips, no nylon webbing. It ages the same as the rest of the bag.
